Accounting Coordinator Role
Ideal Candidate must be a quick learner, self-proficient, proactive, and able to excel in a leadership role. The ideal candidate should also have the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year real estate accounting experience an asset
- Minimum 1-year of accounting experience an asset
- Possess a professional and pleasant demeanor and be organized
- Possess an advanced knowledge of the various Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, power point, publisher), Outlook, Internet and Adobe.
- The candidates must be able to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities and handle a fast paced working environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are all a must
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Update and distribute Statements of Accounts to builders on a weekly or daily basis.
Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Review and process all supplier/vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
- Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance and required approvals.
Payroll, Source Deductions & Government Payments
- Process biweekly source deductions.
- Assist with biweekly payroll, including printing timesheets and distributing pay cheques.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing as required.
- Prepare and submit government remittances, including EHT and WSIB payments.
Credit Cards & Expense Allocations
- Prepare and complete credit card reconciliations, ensuring all receipts are matched and accounted for.
- Allocate expenses to the correct G/L accounts and ensure they are recorded under the correct department reports.
Invoicing & Deal Management
- Perform deal invoicing and deal entry as required.
- Manage décor invoicing as needed.
- Prepare bill-backs for staff and miscellaneous expenses to be charged to builders.
- Maintain and update deal information within Lonewolf and 2P2 systems.
- Assist in the preparation of closing end invoices.
- Prepare staging invoices.
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Prepare the monthly deposit report
- Prepare and send the weekly A/R and Follow up report
- Prepare the various department reports for monthly reporting
- Provide general accounting support and perform other accounting-related tasks as required.
- Perform daily follow-ups on all outstanding accounts.
- Maintain and update the Accounts Receivable Report on a daily basis.
- Prepare the monthly A/R summary report for management review.

Pay: $52,500.00-$58,000.00 per year
