Ironwood Place is a 54-unit senior’s assisted living community. This program provides a range of hospitality and care services that promote independence, choice and dignity to the seniors who live there. Beginning this Fall, Rivercity Inclusion will assume responsibility for delivering nursing and care services at Ironwood Place. This is a significant milestone for our organization and reflects Rivercity Inclusion's continued commitment to delivering high-quality services to the people we support.
The LPN Supervisor assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care at Ironwood. The role acts as the team lead for other licensed practical nurses on site and is the liaison with Island Health for resident care.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical Program
- Current Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in home and community care, or assisted living
- Minimum of one year’s experience supervising LPNs and Care Aides
- Ability to work as a productive and interactive team member
- Ability to be organized, flexible and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to act in an appropriate, professional manner at all times
- Ability to deal effectively and calmly in crisis situations
- Strong oral and written communication

Pay: $36.29-$45.39 per hour
