Job description:
As a Mechanic, you will use your mechanical expertise to support the operational needs of the branch while maintaining a strong focus on safety and professionalism. O
Responsibilities:
- Conduct all PM service requirements.
- Repair equipment to the OEM regulated specifications,
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot, all fuel type systems, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Follow consistent and regular OEM schedule of repairs to various types of machinery.
- Recondition and replace assorted parts on heavy equipment.
- Diagnoses problem areas for potential wear and tear on equipment.
- Maintain work area in a organized and clean manner at all times.
- Follow all company and site safety procedures while at the branch.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills required
- Ability to read and understand schematics of equipment for proper repairs, ability to read and understand warning labels on various types of equipment.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Understand the importance of time management skills.
- Able to work independently or in a team setting.
- Must posses solid written and verbal communication skills and able to perform basic computer skills required for the position.
Conditions of employment
- Journeyman red seal ticket would be an asset.
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers record.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
