Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver construction materials to job sites and customer locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load, unload, and organize building supplies using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before dispatching or upon receipt at the destination
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
- Assist in warehouse tasks including inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Conduct routine safety inspections of vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, offering product guidance, and ensuring a positive experience during every interaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving preferred; familiarity with construction materials is a plus
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; forklift certification is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and customers
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is preferred; certification will be provided if needed
- Excellent moving skills for loading/unloading materials safely and efficiently
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
