Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves performing a variety of landscaping tasks along with shop maintenance, organization and cleaning. Must have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Prior experience with construction or mechanical knowledge is a plus, as well as familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscape work.
Duties
- Mowing lawns, weeding flower beds, trimming shrubs, pruning trees, and planting flowers to maintain landscape aesthetics
- Using hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, aerating, and other landscaping tasks
- Shop cleaning, miscellaneous yard work, and in inclement weather other duties to be performed indoors.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as excavators and power tools
- Experience with irrigation system installation and repair is a plus
- Construction experience or background in general maintenance work is desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
