Shop Foreman
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a welding/fabrication shop setting.
Duties:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials including pipe, plate, flanges, valves, instrumentation etc.
- Prepare paperwork for outgoing materials
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials
- Load and unload trucks with a forklift
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role in a welding/fabrication shop is a must
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and overhead cranes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Wages are negotiable with the Shop Foreman.
