Paris Baguette Retail and Barista Kitchen Support
Paris Baguette is looking for an energetic and flexible team member to join our Yonge and Eglinton café. This role is not just about making coffee. You will be part of both the retail and kitchen team, helping us deliver the warm hospitality and high quality products Paris Baguette is known for.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve Paris Baguette signature coffee, tea, and beverages with care and consistency
- Operate the POS system to process in store, phone, and UBER orders accurately
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation and back of house tasks when needed
- Assist with retail service including pastries, breads, packaging, and guest support
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the café including dining area, washrooms, kitchen, and front of house
- Manage multiple responsibilities during peak hours including orders, customer service, cleaning, and assisting the kitchen
- Handle cash transactions accurately and follow proper procedures
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Provide support to bakers and cakers when required
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in cafés bakeries or restaurants. Barista experience is an asset but not the only focus
- Strong multitasking ability and comfort in switching between retail barista and kitchen support
- A positive team first attitude with flexibility to help wherever needed
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with food safety hygiene and food handling standards
- POS experience required. Micros POS experience is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Previous café or customer service experience preferred
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Available for early morning shifts (starting at 5 AM)
- Available for closing shifts (until 10 PM)
- Able to work both opening and closing
- Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
