We're in search of an experienced, warm, and organized Supervisor to be the heartbeat of our school. This role is for someone who genuinely loves early childhood education, thrives in a leadership position, and knows how to build a team that shows up excited every single day. What You'll Own:
Leadership & Operations
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the centre with confidence and care
- Recruiting, onboarding, and supporting a high-performing team
- Monitoring classrooms and staff regularly to ensure quality and consistency
- Running monthly staff meetings and ensuring team participation in ongoing training
- Managing staff scheduling, break coverage, and attendance
Curriculum & Compliance
- Ensuring the Montessori curriculum is implemented with fidelity across all classrooms
- Maintaining full compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014
- Conducting fire drills, reviewing children's progress records, and producing newsletters
- Planning seasonal programming including winter, spring, and summer camp periods
Family & Community
- Building genuine relationships with families — the kind they rave about
- Leading school tours, organizing open houses, and hosting parent nights
- Supporting families of children with developmental or behavioural needs, including IEP development
- Maintaining strong ties with community service partners
What You Bring:
- RECE designation (mandatory) with active College of ECE registration
- 2+ years of management experience in a licensed childcare setting
- Deep knowledge of CCEYA, the Child Care Centre Licensing Manual, and How Does Learning Happen
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (including infant) and CCEYA Self Test Certificate
- Clear Criminal Reference Check and up-to-date immunization records
- Exceptional communication skills — with children, families, staff, and management
- A calm presence, sharp problem-solving instincts, and a big heart

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
