We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating delightful beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and drink preparation techniques.
Skills
- Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering practices.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- A friendly demeanor with strong hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
