Tire Technician Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tires for various vehicles. This role requires the ability to work with both hand and power tools while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various types of tires, including agricultural, OTR and commercial.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tire-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician would be considered an asset.
- The ability to troubleshoot tire-related issues as well as basic mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and coworkers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds).
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are advantageous.
