About the Role
Vision Security is looking for a dependable and resourceful Full-Stack Software Engineer to help develop, improve, and maintain our existing internal software platforms, Including our payroll software, ERP, Scheduling Application and many others.
Our software supports key business operations such as employee management, scheduling, dispatching, communication, payroll, game theory planning...
The selected candidate will work with an existing codebase, maintain current features, resolve technical issues, and develop new functionality as the company’s operational needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve our existing web applications
- Review and understand the current codebase and system architecture
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues
- Build new features based on operational requirements
- Improve software performance, reliability, and usability
- Maintain employee, scheduling, dispatch, and shift-management features
- Manage and improve integrations with third-party services
- Assist with Twilio SMS and automated calling functionality
- Support QuickBooks, payroll, and accounting integrations
- Maintain databases and backend workflows using Supabase
- Improve internal dashboards, reports, and administrative tools
- Maintain secure authentication, permissions, and access controls
- Protect confidential employee, client, payroll, and company information
- Document code, integrations, updates, and development processes
- Recommend technical improvements and long-term solutions
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React and Next.js
- Experience with Claude and vibe coding
- Experience working with and maintaining an existing codebase
- Experience building and integrating APIs
- Knowledge of relational databases and backend development
- Experience with Git and version control
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Supabase or PostgreSQL
- Experience with Twilio SMS or voice integrations
- Experience with QuickBooks or payroll software integrations
- Knowledge of authentication, permissions, and data security
- Experience with scheduling, workforce management, payroll, or dispatch software
- Experience deploying and maintaining production applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
