Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role involve supporting benefits and potentially payroll-related audits and reconciliations. They will perform enrolment audits to confirm employees are enrolled in the correct benefit plans and review life event changes such as coverage terminations due to age limits and adjustments for over-age dependents. The role also includes supporting pension-related audits, including improvements to tools used for year-end data submissions, as well as assisting with possible payroll audits. A key part of the position is identifying and documenting discrepancies so they can be investigated and resolved by Benefits Administrators. The individual will also work with historical data to address prior-year backlogs and demonstrate how audit tools are used within the team to support ongoing processes.

The successful candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of attention to detail, and solid technical abilities when working with data. While knowledge or experience in benefits administration is not required, the ability to learn quickly and work effectively with complex datasets is important.
