Position Overview
Evergreen Leadership Academy is looking for a creative, hands-on, and highly capable STEAM / Engineering Workshop Instructor to help students build, design, experiment, and think like problem-solvers.
This is not a traditional classroom-only teaching role. We are looking for someone who can bring engineering, science, technology, design, construction, mechanics, robotics, and creative problem-solving to life for children.
The ideal candidate loves working with kids, enjoys building things, and can turn a simple idea into an engaging workshop. You may have a background in engineering, science, trades, robotics, design, architecture, woodworking, coding, maker education, or hands-on project-based learning. Formal teaching experience is valuable, but we are especially interested in someone with real creativity, strong technical ability, and the patience to guide children through the process of making, testing, improving, and learning.
About Evergreen
Evergreen Leadership Academy is a small, independent school in Vaughan serving students from early years through elementary/middle school. Our program emphasizes academics, fitness, leadership, nature, creativity, discipline, and real-world skills.
We believe children should not only learn information. They should learn how to think, build, solve problems, communicate, work with others, and develop confidence through meaningful challenge.
Our STEAM program is an important part of that mission.
