Wheel Loader Operator
To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a Wheel Loader Operator with front fork experience to join our West Edmonton team. The successful candidate will enjoy a variety of duties and will be joining a fast-paced, safe environment and diverse team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment in compliance with Company safe job procedures
- Load and unload material by using forks to or from other equipment or customer vehicles
- Move materials/product over short distances such as around site or warehouse
- Pile, spread or sort product by grade for appropriate placement within warehouse or on site
- Conduct pre-operational and post-operational equipment checks, reporting possible defects and condition of equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance including greasing, cleaning, fluid checks
- Understand product/material information
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ wheel loader experience with forks
- Overhead Crane experience is an asset
- Superior time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a high volume and busy environment
- Effective communication, both written and verbal; including the ability to interface with customers and personnel at all levels
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

- Edmonton, AB T5V 1L3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
