<br><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Electric Motor Systems Technician (Apprentice)</b></h2>
<p></p><p>As an Electric Motor Systems Technician (Apprentice), you will dissassemble electric motors and related equipment, test various items, replace mechanical components, and reassemble the motors.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Disassemble and inspect AC and DC motors</li>
<li>Assemble and test electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors</li>
<li>Test reconditioned motors and similar electro-mechanical equipment</li>
<li>Manufacture new coils for armatures, stators, or rotors of used motors and generators</li>
<li>Rewind coils</li>
<li>Test and observe the electrical and mechanical condition of equipment</li>
<li>Replace shafts, bearings, commutators and other components</li>
<li>Mechanical removal/disassembly of equipment at customer sites</li>
<li>Perform other duties as required and assigned by management</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Basic machinery assembly experience</li>
<li>Mechanically inclined</li>
<li>Experience interpreting basic mechanical drawings</li>
<li>Willingness and desire to learn</li>
<li>Knowledge of basic arithmetic and mathematics</li>
<li>Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs</li>
<li>Able to lift/position heavy motor components</li>
<li>Able to follow basic health and safety procedures and protocols</li>
<li>Good communication skills and writing skills (English)</li></ul></div>
