Burger 347 is looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations in Kingston, Ontario. We are seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about food quality, the use of local ingredients, kitchen efficiency, and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Lead, train, and schedule kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure excellent guest experiences
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team performance management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
