Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing excellent patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in acute. chronic, and addiction medication managment.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
- Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
- Provide patient education on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Monitor patient responses to medications and collaborate with healthcare providers to adjust therapies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles.
- Provide pharmaceutical expertise to the healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards related to pharmacy practice.
- Conduct medication reconciliation for patients transitioning between care settings.
Qualifications
- Must hold Part A licensing from Ontario College of Pharmacists and be a member in good standing with the provincial college of Pharmacists
- A minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience
- Advanced proficiency in Kroll and Fill ware systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
