We work closely with faith-based organizations and nonprofits to simplify complex CRA processes and help organizations build a strong operational foundation.
Position Overview
Charity Fuel is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Client Outreach Coordinator to support client acquisition and community engagement efforts.
This role is ideal for someone with strong sales and communication skills who understands church and nonprofit culture and enjoys building meaningful relationships within the community.
The Client Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for connecting with churches and nonprofit organizations, conducting outreach, following up with leads, supporting discovery calls, and helping grow Charity Fuel’s presence within the nonprofit and ministry sector.
This is a full-time 3-month contract position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Outreach
- Contact newly generated leads through phone, email, and social media
- Follow up with organizations that submit forms through Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns
- Schedule and coordinate discovery calls
- Maintain detailed lead notes and follow-up timelines within the CRM
- Track lead status and conversion progress
- Conduct outreach to churches and nonprofits across Canada
Organization Audits
Conduct preliminary research on organizations, including:
- Website presence
- Email contact information
- Social media presence
- Physical location
- WhatsApp or communication platforms
- Leadership or pastor contact information
Community Relationship Building
- Build relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, and nonprofit representatives
- Attend ministry conferences, networking events, and community gatherings
- Represent Charity Fuel professionally within the community
- Develop referral relationships with ministry and nonprofit professionals
Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Respond to social media inquiries and messages
- Follow up with leads generated through digital marketing campaigns
- Send personalized outreach messages and follow-ups
- Engage with nonprofit and church communities online
Referral & Relationship Management
- Request testimonials and referrals from satisfied clients
- Support ongoing relationship development with organizations
Strategic Feedback & Reporting
- Report weekly on outreach activities, lead generation, and follow-up progress
Qualifications & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong sales, outreach, or business development experience
- Experience working in church ministry, nonprofit organizations, or faith-based environments
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with pastors and organizational leaders
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
- Professional phone and email communication skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital communication tools
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Social media familiarity, particularly Facebook and Instagram
Assets
- Experience attending or coordinating community events
- Knowledge of the Canadian nonprofit or charitable sectors
- Experience with lead management or customer service

Compensation
- $20/hour
- Paid bi-weekly
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- This is a contract position, therefore the successful applicant will be responsible for their own deductions and tax remittances
Opportunity
This position begins as an in-person full-time 3-month contract with the potential to become a permanent long-term role within Charity Fuel.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the organization and become an important part of our outreach and client engagement efforts.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
