Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental team. Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient assessments, including medical history updates and vital signs
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a dental office setting, including dental assisting or customer service roles, is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Hiring on Saturdays: 9 am- 4 pm
