Outside Sales Representative – Northern Alberta
Absolute Distribution & Hydraulics – Peace River, AB
Absolute Distribution & Hydraulics is hiring an Outside Sales Representative based out of our Peace River branch to grow and support customers throughout Northern Alberta.
We are looking for a motivated, professional, and results-driven individual with strong communication skills and a willingness to get in front of customers. This position will focus on building new business, maintaining existing accounts, promoting hydraulic and industrial products, and supporting customer needs across Northern Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business throughout Northern Alberta.
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
- Visit customers, shops, yards, field locations, and industrial sites.
- Promote hydraulic hose, fittings, adapters, valves, pumps, motors, cylinders, industrial hose, and shop supplies.
- Support VMI and customer inventory opportunities.
- Work with inside sales to quote, source, and follow up on customer requests.
- Track customer visits, leads, quotes, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Meet sales targets and growth expectations.
- Represent Absolute Distribution & Hydraulics professionally at all times.
Requirements
- Outside sales experience preferred.
- Hydraulic, industrial, oilfield, trucking, agricultural, mechanical, or construction supply experience is an asset.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Comfortable travelling throughout Northern Alberta.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required.
- Clean driver’s abstract may be required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills.
