What you’ll be doing
This role is a mix of bookkeeping, job costing, financial cleanup, and some administrative support.
Job Costing & Profit Tracking
- Review completed projects and compare estimated vs. actual costs
- Identify overages, missed costs, and margin leaks
- Report clearly on what happened and why
Invoice & Cost Accuracy
- Enter and review supplier invoices in QuickBooks
- Match purchase orders → invoices → bills
- Catch errors, duplicates, and missing costs
Reconciliation
- Ensure every cost is accounted for before a job is closed
- Cross-check supplier statements with QuickBooks
Payroll & Taxes
- Run payroll
- File GST, PST, and payroll remittances
General Support
- Help keep financial processes organized and efficient
- Be the go-to person for “does this number make sense?”

Experience
- Bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks is a must)
- Comfortable with spreadsheets
- Experience with payroll and tax filing (required)
Compensation
- $22–$30/hour depending on experience
- Full-time in person position
