Job Overview
We are seeking experienced siding installers and laborers to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining siding on residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and related trades, with a focus on exterior cladding projects. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Install siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, measuring, and marking areas for installation
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to complete tasks accurately
- Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper installation
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and durability of installations
- Assist with other construction tasks including framing, carpentry, or handyman duties as needed
- Maintain a clean work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in siding installation or related construction roles
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Strong carpentry skills and knowledge of blueprint reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Experience with caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing techniques
- Construction or handyman experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license preferred
- A commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
