Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Class 1 & 3 Gravel Truck Drivers to operate commercial trucks for the transportation of gravel and related materials. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely delivering loads across designated routes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to support our construction and mining operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 & 3 gravel trucks to transport materials to various job sites and locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatch.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations.
- Assist with freight handling as required, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and work area throughout shifts.
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class 1 or 3 required.
- Prior experience operating gravel trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs as needed.
