Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a custom job shop environment specializing in medium to large metal components. This is not a production-based role. The ideal candidate must be confident handling one-off and small-batch jobs independently, including setup and machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CNC machine setup and operation independently
Work on custom 1 2 piece machining jobs
Machine medium to large metal components with precision
Interpret drawings and follow machining specifications
Ensure quality and accuracy of finished parts
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
Experience in a custom job shop environment is mandatory
Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience handling medium to large-sized parts
Good understanding of machining tolerances and measurements
Not Suitable For:
Production-only machinists
Candidates with frequent job changes
Freshers or candidates with less than 5 years experience
