GAS STATION ATTENDANT / CASHIER
Hwy 3 Gas N’ More (Tempo) is hiring a gas station/attendant. Shifts are variable and can be negotiated.
Our business is conveniently located to serve the needs of those leaving for a weekend getaway or those heading home after a day of work. Come and see us for your bait, tackle, snacks, gas, propane and hot food and basic grocery items. Our staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on making your experience in our store a good one! Come and see us…. we have something for everyone! We are located at 1740 Gershaw Dr. SW (across from the airport)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of store products and able to recommend options as needed
- Take orders, handle food and beverage inquiries, prepare food and beverage orders, fill propane tanks and sell bait, tackle and firewood bundles
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure safety and security
- Handling customer concerns when appropriate; solicit support from management when required
- Cleaning and re-stocking the interior and exterior products
- Ability to manage cash and electronic payments for good and services; proper adherence to all cash handling procedures as outlined in store policies
- Correct use of POS system, adhering to all store standards and policies
Job Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
- Minimum of 1-year related experience in a customer service role
- Fluent in English; both written and verbal
- Prior experience with a cash payments and point-of-sale system
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 25lbs
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions.
- Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekend shifts
Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
