Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Order Picker/Reach Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate order fulfillment and efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse distribution, operate clamp trucks and forklifts, and possess mechanical knowledge. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and safety are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders using order picker equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Operate reach trucks, clamp trucks, and forklifts safely to retrieve and store inventory
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and update records
- Conduct basic math calculations for order quantities, measurements, and inventory counts
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move products within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during all warehouse operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics preferred
- Valid certification or experience operating clamp trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking processes
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for order processing
- Physical ability to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to work full-time hours with flexibility for shift schedules
This position is vital for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate order processing.
Pay: $22.20-$24.18 per hour
