Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front Food Attendant to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling food preparation and serving duties, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, cashiering, and hospitality within a fast-paced food industry setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Assist in food handling, storage, and basic kitchen tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
Pay: $15.94-$18.00 per hour
