We're seeking an experienced Epoxy Industrial Spray Painter a leading manufacturer in Oakville!
Starting pay: $29-$32/hr
Shifts: Monday to Friday; 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Full time Position. Benefits, Paid Vacation, RRSP plan
Qualifications
- Ability to work with Enamel and Epoxy paint made by Carboline, International and Sherwin Williams and able to mix per manufacturers instructions.
- Spray paint using standard spray gun and in some cases using a pressure pot assembly
- Minimum 3 years' in sandblasting
- Strong knowledge of paint to metal applications, mixing, spraying and matching
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to effectively handle a heavy work load
- Standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work without supervision
- Must work well independently and as a team
Responsibilities
- Pre-paint inspection
- Prepping of metal surfaces
- Apply masking to surfaces
- Apply primers and paint using pressure pot paint spray system
- Cleaning and general maintenance of paint guns
- General cleaning of paint booth
