Like the Bâton Rouge servers, the bartender is responsible for adapting the culinary experience to the specific needs of each customer who sits at his bar counter. In addition, he is responsible for sparking and maintaining conversations with his guests and creating a bond with them. Dynamic and flexible in his conversations, the Bâton Rouge bartender will know how to build and develop his clientele over time. The bartender is the liaison between the customer and Bâton Rouge. It will be one of the main determining factors as to the guest's opinion of the brand. Warm welcome, order taking, suggestive selling, knowledge of products and what sets us apart, knowledge of wines and spirits, follow-up and presence, sale of desserts and digestives, management of payments, are among others, tasks that relate to Baton Rouge bartenders. The bartender is also responsible for setting up his bar, rotation, inventory, organization of the workstation, supply, execution of cocktails following recipes and labor in team with the service bar. When quieter at his bar counter, he may be required to lend a hand to his colleagues in the dining room.
QUALITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience as a server or bartender (2 years minimum) or having followed a training course.
- Bilingual.
- Professionalism, dynamism, and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality and diligence in the performance of his duties.
- Ability to adapt to all types of customers.
- Enjoys working with the public and excels in the area of client relations.
- Wines knowledge.
