Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Staff Member to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and safe dining experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Manage customer transactions efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.
- Assist with food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities such as serving, cashiering, and food prep.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders through effective time management skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food industry practices including sanitation, serving, and upselling techniques.
- Proven time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
