We are a eco friendly dry cleaner in Mississauga, committed to providing premium garment care. We are seeking a professional dry cleaning machineoperator/spotter with minimum 5 years experience. Prior experience in dry cleaNing AND industriallaundry is a MUST. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, committed to outstanding service in a fast paced environment.
Duties include:
- Handle laundry duties such as machine operator, spotter, sorting, washing, drying, tagging and organizing.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Operates the industrial dry cleaning unit, using specialized solvents
- Monitoring chemical levels
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health and safety regulations
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
- Spotter: identifying and removing difficult stains using specific chemical agents and steam before garment is cleaned
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with laundry operations is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable with good time management skills
- Ability to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
