Job Overview
looking for a reliable partner to assist with steel drawing drafting, site measurements, and project coordination.
Main Duties:
- Visit job sites to take measurements, photos, and field notes
- Assist with steel layout and site measuring
- Prepare and revise drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Tekla Structures
- Help create shop drawings, field sketches, and basic fabrication drawings
- Assist with material take-offs and drawing coordination
- Communicate with the shop and field crew to confirm dimensions and details
- Support project managers with daily project documentation
- Requirements:
- Experience with AutoCAD is required
- Experience with Tekla Structures for steel detailing is strongly preferred
- SketchUp experience is an asset
- Able to read construction drawings and take accurate site measurements
- Basic knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation is preferred
- Reliable, organized, and willing to visit job sites
- Valid driver’s license is must
- language: english, mandrian will be an asset
