With over 31 years of millwright and mechanical sales and service, Black Ink Enterprises specializes in the repair and maintenance of oilfield equipment.
We are looking for a dedicated team player to join our team of oilfield repair specialists. The current opportunity is for a General Labourer, though there is a possibility for a millwright apprenticeship.
Duties include:
- Assisting millwrights in servicing and repairing of oilfield equipment, such as minor installations, simple repairs, routine maintenance, and grinding, cutting, wire-brushing parts.
- Travelling to various locations for pick-up and delivery of parts, supplies, equipment.
- Carrying out routine tasks to support the operation of the shop including, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash removal, yard clean-up, snow removal, floor and parts pressure washing.
- Assembling parts/product orders for customers.
- Lifting and moving objects, materials, equipment in a safe and proper manner.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Work Environment:
- Bending, standing, lifting, reaching, carrying heavy parts, tools, equipment, up to 100lbs.
- Exposure to noise, vibrations, power tools, moving vehicles, running engines, overhead cranes, heavy duty equipment, temperature extremes, poor ventilation for short periods of time, humidity, dirt, dust.
- Team environment.
Requirements:
- A valid provincial class 5 (non-GDL) driver’s license.
- Cell phone.
