We are looking for line & prep cook positions to fill. We are looking for an experienced candidates with a passion for good food and quality. This position is ideal for a professional kitchen employee. Restaurant experience is considered an asset.
A successful candidate will be reliable & able to work well under pressure, possess the ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A successful candidate will ideally possess basic knife skills, be able to prepare and cook food items on a regular basis in a fast paced environment.
Rudy's will strive to provide a flexible part or full time schedule that will compliment the employees existing work schedule.
This position will be primarily evening shifts. Rudy's is looking for an eager and dependable addition to our team. Training and development will be provided by experienced, professional chefs.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient BOH (Back of House) Team Member to join our restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and maintaining kitchen stations
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Follow proper food storage protocols
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Adhere to all health and safety policies to create a safe working environment for all staff
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Basic cooking skills with a focus on quality and consistency
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen environment
Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
