Service Technicians at Vision Garage Doors Ltd. play a key role in creating an exceptional homeowner experience. You are the face of our company during each service call, and we rely on you to build trust, communicate clearly, and guide customers through their options. As a Service Technician, you will complete the sales and service of residential and commercial garage doors. You will visit customer homes, diagnose concerns, provide professional recommendations, and ensure each homeowner feels valued and well taken care of. Our office team and leadership provide strong support so that you can focus on delivering a quality visit every time.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. You will be interacting with our customers daily and having patient and respectful behavior is a must as you are representing Vision Garage Doors.

What You Will Do (This list may not include all the duties assigned)
· Create a positive customer experience during every visit
· Communicate clearly, listen to customer concerns, and present solutions
· Provide sales recommendations that improve safety, function, and longevity
· Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on garage doors and openers
· Assemble mechanical components and parts
· Adjust sensors, force settings, and hardware to ensure proper operation
· Replace worn or damaged parts using hand and power tools
· Install hardware, weatherstripping, and door components
· Perform safety inspections and testing
· Process payments when required
· Complete documentation through our field management software
· Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle
What You Bring
· A personable, friendly, and customer focused approach
· Confidence in presenting recommendations and selling solutions
· Strong mechanical and technical problem solving skills, with a willingness to continue learning
· Physical ability to lift 75 lbs or more and perform bending, climbing, and kneeling
· Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast paced environment
· Professionalism, reliability, and self motivation
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Valid drivers licence with a clean abstract
· Garage door experience is an asset, but training is provided
Schedule and Compensation
· Full time, Monday to Friday
