Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a 26’ Roll Off Flatbed Driver. This full-time position involves operating heavy-duty flatbed trucks to transport and unload materials efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, experience with heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety and reliability. Responsibilities
- Operate 26’ roll-off flatbed trucks to deliver and pick up materials at various job sites
- Safely load and unload heavy materials, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transportation to prevent accidents or damage
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards and report any issues
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transit
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and any issues during routes
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience operating flatbed or roll-off trucks preferred
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience driving large commercial vehicles over various terrains and distances
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, transportation, and vehicle maintenance
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$32.16 per hour
