We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist Specialist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair coloring and styling, combined with excellent customer service skills. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity while providing clients with exceptional beauty experiences. The Color Specialist will be responsible for delivering customized color treatments, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and professional expertise.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine their desired hair color and style preferences
- Perform hair coloring, highlighting, balayage, and other color techniques with precision and artistry
- Provide professional hair styling services to complement color treatments
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health standards
- Upsell retail hair care products and additional services to enhance client results and satisfaction
- Assist at the front desk by scheduling appointments, managing client check-ins, and processing transactions
- Deliver excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines and product usage for optimal results
Experience
- Prior canadian experience in hair coloring and styling is must.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols within a salon environment is essential
- Experience in retail sales or upselling techniques is a plus
- Previous front desk or customer service experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- A passion for beauty trends, creativity, and continuous learning is highly valued
