As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process. Your mechanical knowledge will play a crucial role in the success of our body shop.
Duties
- Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for repair costs, including parts and labor
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and answer any questions
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and estimates
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process, ensuring a positive experience for all clients
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, dealership practices, and automotive repair techniques
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive environment and estimator position
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and mechanical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
