We are seeking a Paint Sales Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with previous paint industry experience who can quickly become a productive member of our team, confidently assist customers, and work independently.
Position Details
- 25–40 hours per week, as operationally necessary
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Paid lunch break

Required Qualifications
- 1 year of paint sales or paint store experience (preferred)
- Experience with paint tinting, mixing, and colour matching
- Strong knowledge of paint products, sundries, and application techniques
- Ability to work independently and confidently open and close the store
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and point-of-sale experience
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting colours, finishes, and the right products for their projects
- Tint, mix, and accurately colour match paint
- Recommend complementary paint products and accessories
- Provide knowledgeable, professional customer service in person and over the phone
- Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system
- Receive, check in, price, and stock merchandise
- Order products and assist with special orders
- Maintain inventory and back-stock levels
- Keep shelves fully stocked and merchandise attractively displayed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
- Complete opening and closing procedures
- Assist with inventory counts, merchandising, and price changes
- Participate in store meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team
- Perform other duties as required to support daily store operations
