Job Overview
We are seeking an Senior Instrumentation and Control Technician with a valid Ontario Driver’s License and a G1 (TSSA GAS) License to join our dynamic team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex instrumentation and control systems within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical, mechanical, and automation skills, with experience in industrial maintenance and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This position offers an opportunity to work as a maintenance technician for one of our clients in Nanticoke Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems including sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings to accurately perform maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose issues related to low voltage systems and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial burner controls (G1 TSSA Gas License)
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, calibrations, and system modifications for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements related to gas systems.
- Assist in the development of system upgrades or modifications to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Strong background in industrial maintenance with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in industrial instrumentation tasks, including low voltage electrical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to machinery repair and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and understanding of automation systems.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach for internal clients.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to gas systems and electrical work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings requiring attention to detail.
This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing operations while ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times. We seek dedicated professionals committed to excellence in industrial instrumentation and control systems management.
This role will start 8hrs per day 5 days a week for 4-8 weeks then move to continental 2-2-3 shift alternating days and nights.

Pay: $150,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
