About Us
We are a passionate, independent craft brewery that has spent the last decade building a reputation for brewing exceptional beer. Now, 10 years into our journey, we are entering our biggest growth phase yet.
With Ontario’s updated retail landscape expanding craft beer into grocery chains, big-box, and independent retailers, we have a massive canvas in front of us. We are lean, fast-moving, and hungry to take our brand to every tap tower, shelf, and cooler in the province.
That’s where you come in.
The Role
We are looking for a high-energy Sales Representative who thrives on the hustle of a small business and wants their work to directly shape our growth curve.
This isn't a desk job. It’s a hybrid role that combines "feet on the street" grit—building relationships with local bar owners, managers, and draft lines—with strategic account management across LCBO listings, key grocery groups, and regional key accounts.
Whether you're closing a single draft tap in an independent pub or managing stock turn at a local grocery outlet, you see sales as a challenge you want to win.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Premise Sales (Bars, Restaurants, Taprooms)
- Hit the Pavement: Prospect, qualify, and close new draft and tall-can accounts across your assigned territory.
- Relationship Management: Build genuine, lasting relationships with bar managers, owners, and chefs through regular touchpoints, tastings, and staff training sessions.
- Draft Line Growth: Maximize our tap presence, secure secondary taps, and ensure top-notch draft quality at every account.
2. Retail & Off-Premise (Grocery & LCBO)
- Retail Execution: Capitalize on Ontario’s retail expansion by securing shelf space, prime end-cap placements, and cold-box positioning in licensed grocery and retail stores.
- Listing Management: Navigate the LCBO listing process, working through promotional schedules, submissions, and inventory forecasting.
- Merchandising: Ensure our cans look great on shelves, POS materials are placed effectively, and inventory is rotated properly.
3. Data & Territory Management
- Leverage Tools: Use industry data platforms like Dig This Data and retail portal reporting to track sales trends, identify inventory gaps, and uncover territory opportunities.
- Territory Planning: Organize efficient sales routes, maintain accurate account records, and manage your pipeline to hit quarterly revenue and volume targets.
Who You Are
- Driven by Impact: You want to work where your work actually matters. You love seeing your efforts show up directly on tap lists, shelf spaces, and revenue reports.
- A Strategic Hustler: You are equally comfortable talking craft beer with a bartender at 10 PM as you are presenting financial margins to a multi-store buyer at 9 AM.
- Tech-Savvy & Self-Directed: You bring your own gear (laptop/phone) and are quick to adopt industry software, CRM tools, and data analytics without needing someone to hold your hand.
- Target-Oriented: You speak the language of sales—margins, velocity, volume targets, and conversion rates—and you enjoy chasing down a goal.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in a sales, account management, or hospitality role where you owned targets and revenue. (Prior craft beer or beverage alcohol sales experience is a huge bonus, but not required if you bring strong sales fundamentals and a hunger to learn).
- Industry Familiarity: Basic understanding of or willingness to dive deep into the LCBO listing process, Ontario alcohol regulations, and sales platforms like Dig This Data.
- Driver’s License: Valid Ontario G-Driver’s License with a clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle for regular territory travel.
- Hardware: Must bring your own laptop and mobile device for field sales tracking, presentations, and communication.
- Certifications: Smart Serve Certification (or willing to obtain before starting).
- Availability: Flexibility to attend occasional evening events, tap takeovers, or weekend festivals.
What We Offer
- Competitive Base Salary: Guaranteed salary providing stability.
- Performance-Based Upside: Performance bonus, commission tiers, and sales incentives designed to reward growth.
- Total Compensation Range: $55,000 – $70,000+ per year (unlimited earning potential tied directly to results).
- Beer Allowance
- Growth Potential: A key seat at the table as we scale into new retail channels across the province.
