Job Description:
As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various properties. This includes lawn care, pruning, planting, mulching, trimming, and general landscape upkeep. You’ll work alongside a team to ensure that properties are maintained to the highest standards. We are looking for someone that may want to supervise in the future if the possibility arises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns
- Prune and shape shrubs and trees
- Weed and mulch flower beds
- Apply fertilizers, lime, and other treatments as needed
- Maintain and clean landscaping equipment
- Assist with seasonal clean-ups (e.g., leaf removal)
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Qualifications:
- Two years minimum of previous experience in landscape maintenance
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and equipment operation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and a vehicle to get to sites throughout the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Candidates must have reliable transportation to travel to and from our job sites, all of which are located within the Tri-Cities area. Employees will be compensated for travel time at their regular hourly rate while driving between sites, in addition to receiving $0.61 per kilometer.
We offer a performance review after three months, with the potential for a raise. Additionally, employees become eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan after six months of service, available to both individuals and families.
