CTM Cryogenics has been servicing cryogenic tanker trailers and industrial gas equipment for over 40 years. Our customers include some of the largest gas companies in North America, and the work we do keeps their fleets certified, safe, and operating.
We are looking for a hands-on skilled labourer/tradesperson to support our Quality Control Manager on the shop floor. This is a working role with real variety. You will be involved in the physical build, testing, and certification process of specialized cryogenic equipment. Full training is provided on cryogenic systems and our internal processes.
If you have mechanical aptitude, take pride in doing things right the first time, and want to work in a specialized trade with long-term stability, this role is worth your attention.
What You Will Do
Mark and organize material for shop jobs in coordination with the QC Manager
Install piping and bend tubing for drain lines
Perform vacuum testing and leak testing on cryogenic systems
Repair and rebuild various valve types including ball valves and gate valves
Support the QC team through inspection, assembly, and documentation tasks
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with shop safety standards
What We Are Looking For
Hands-on mechanical experience in a shop, trade, or industrial setting
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform physical manual work
Comfortable working with tools, fittings, and mechanical assemblies
Takes direction well and works accurately in a team environment
The following are considered strong assets:
Experience with pumps, plumbing, or valve systems
Familiarity with pressure gauges and safety relief devices
Understanding of basic pneumatic or fluid systems
