Motorcycle Technician – Full Time
If you thrive on precision, diagnostics, and mechanical problem-solving, this role puts your technical skills front and center. We’re seeking a knowledgeable Motorcycle Technician to join our service team, with a strong preference for experience working on Harley-Davidson models.
Position Details
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $28.00 – $38.00/hour (based on experience)
- Additional Earnings: Performance-based incentives and bonus structures
What You’ll Do (Technical Responsibilities)
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using OEM tools and scan systems to identify mechanical and electrical faults
- Execute engine service and repair, including top-end work, gasket replacement, and internal component inspection
- Diagnose and repair fuel delivery systems, including EFI systems, injectors, and fuel pumps
- Service and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, charging systems, and CAN bus networks
- Perform scheduled maintenance services (fluid changes, brake systems, tire replacement, drive systems) in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Inspect and repair suspension and steering components, ensuring proper alignment and handling performance
- Conduct transmission and drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, including clutch systems and final drive components
- Use service manuals and technical bulletins to ensure accurate and up-to-date repair procedures
- Complete detailed service documentation, including diagnostic findings, repair steps, and parts usage
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and safety checks to ensure motorcycles meet quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all shop safety protocols
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician (Harley-Davidson experience is a strong asset)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
