We are currently seeking a Duty Manager for our Pearson Airport location. This position will primarily support weekend operations (Saturday and Sunday) and will be responsible for overseeing daily valet and parking operations, leading frontline teams, and ensuring exceptional service delivery in a fast-paced airport environment.
What Would You Be Doing?
Lead, coach, and develop frontline team members to ensure performance aligns with Indigo’s values and service standards.
Supervise daily shift operations at Pearson Airport, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of customer, employee, and client concerns.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, guests, and employees during assigned shifts.
Respond to emails, handle customer complaints, and follow up on pending requests or investigations.
Support payroll approvals, staff scheduling, and operational reporting.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Delegate responsibilities and ensure accountability across the team during shifts.
Maintain accurate operational records and logs (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually).
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment, particularly within a unionized setting.
Take ownership of projects or initiatives as assigned by management.
What Are the Working Conditions?
Location: Toronto Pearson International Airport
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and frequent exposure to varying temperatures.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, and twisting.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Flexible availability required to meet operational needs in an airport environment (including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required).
What Are the Working Conditions? Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

What Are We Looking For?
Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in operations, customer service, parking, or a similar service-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
Highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
