Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee, maintain, and inspect all designated buildings and properties
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with boards, owners, tenants and vendors
- Coordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies
- Administer board meetings & communiques
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, pay invoices, and analyze costs and operating statements
- Manage on-site staff, and vendor/contractor relationships
- Address owner complaints, violations, and enforce building rules and policy
- Maintain owner files in Yardi
- Preparation of annual budgets
- Tender trades
- Promote a culture of respect and enthusiasm
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in a residential Condominium Management role or 3 years as a Condominium Assistant
- Preference given to those candidates who have or are actively working on obtaining their RECA Condominium license.
- Good understanding of Yardi or a comparable accounting & condominium management software system
- Highly organized and able to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities
- Problem solving skills
- Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations and follow direction from senior leadership
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with residents, colleagues and trades
- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times
- Availability to work some weekends and evenings and respond to after hours emergencies
- Commission on manager acquired assets, we encourage and compensate managers who develop their own portfolios.
