Requirements
- Assemble new units, perform pre-delivery inspections.
- Accurately follow repair or service instructions on repair orders.
- Diagnose and repair snowmobiles, ATV/UTV and lawn & garden equipment.
- Ability to accurately diagnose and repair complex electrical systems.
- Ability to perform repairs in allotted timeframe as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Must have good computer skills.
- Be accountable for all work and ensure that units are carefully inspected and reviewed prior to delivery.
- Effectively use diagnostic programs to correctly identify and diagnose the root cause of equipment issues and resolve the problems.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must have a basic set of hand tools. Specialty tools will be provided.
Skills Required
- Previous mechanic experience in the powersports industry or dealership.
- Ability to take and follow directions.
- High attention to detail.
- Bending, crouching and kneeling.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
