Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Boxing/packaging products, applying labels, loading/stacking products to skids.
- Clean and maintain the equipment and immediate work area throughout the shift.
- Perform manual tasks, requiring care and attention to avoid injury to self or others.
- Strictly adheres to GMP, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Guidelines.
- Wear proper PPE when performing duties. PPE includes but is not limited to cartridge respirator.
- Wash and rinse containers.
- Sleeve and label containers.
- Work in powder production area operating powder mixer, bagging/boxing product, and staging components.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Capable of reaching, lifting (50 lb) and working from a platform.
- Works cooperatively in teams communicates clearly and has effective listening skills.
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required.
This is a part-time, contract role. Anticipated hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
