As an Animal Facility Attendant (20h/week) for our Toxicology team at the Senneville (QC) site, you will be you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
In this role, primary responsibilities include:
- Room cleaning activities and feeding of the animal following the established schedules.
- Clean all types of animal housing units and their accessories.
- Perform maintenance on all animal housing units and their accessories i.e. (visual inspection).
- Evaluate the state of the animal housing units in the vivarium and advise the supervisor or delegate of any needed repairs.
Key Elements
If you have the following qualifications, we'll train you for the rest:
- Able to work physically (lifting loads of 20-25 lbs);
- Able to follow precises instructions;
- Able to work autonomously.
Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test covered by the company.

- Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
- Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
- Salary: $19.00 per hour;
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4h per day.
- Temporary position of 20 hours per week.
