Overview
Our client, a global tier one company is seeking a skilled Millwright to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, and troubleshooting. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. Candidates should possess excellent analysis skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with schematics and control systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Responsibilities
- Install, align, dismantle, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control system diagrams including PLCs and low voltage wiring
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders, inventory management, and documentation
- Conduct electrical work related to industrial systems, including low voltage wiring and control panels
- Assist with welding, HVAC repairs, boiler maintenance, and other mechanical tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting safety inspections
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze equipment performance issues and implement solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing settings
- Certified Industrial Millwright (Red Seal required)
- Ability to pass a technical assessment (maintenance knowledge)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (chains, belts, sprockets, bearings, installation, tensioning)
- Experience with electronic components (level probes, flowmeters, drives/VFDs)
- Ability to read and interpret product manuals for repairs and maintenance
- Skilled in operating machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, grinder, etc.)
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for machinery and equipment
- Experience with PLC systems considered an asset

Night Shift 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM ( Sunday - Thursday)
$1.65/ hour shift premium
Pay: $45.70 per hour
